Alpacas are the stars of our petting zoo

In the stunning Alps and the picturesque Ötztal, alpacas were a rare sight until just a few years ago, despite their origins in the high mountains of South America:  Alpacas are native to the lofty valleys of the Andes. However, at the  petting zoo of Veitenhof, you and your children can quickly become familiar with these charming, llama-like mini camels, celebrated for their friendly demeanor and incredibly soft wool.
